Watts: using an ebike, I calculate MY ACTUAL wattage output to be approximately 45% of the Strava estimate (126w x.45 = 56.7w);
Caloric output: using an ebike is approximately 5 kcal/minute (5 x 55.35 = 276.75)
-these estimates are based on the Schwinn indoor stationary calculations.
I resolve to cycle at least 2024 miles in 150 hours. That means averaging 168 miles per month (a challenge in winter months). I expect to make up for the lower winter cycling miles with more spring-summer-fall biking.
